Secular Freethought Society at ASU
I - To provide a forum for rational discussion of non-religious based philosophies, the role of religion in the public sphere, and related issues of secularism, including separation of church and state. This will be done by sponsoring lectures, films, discussions, and social events.
II - To create a community in which non-religious people, such as freethinkers, skeptics, atheists, agnostics, humanists, and those with naturalistic world views feel welcome and comfortable.
III - To defend freedom of expression and civil liberties for all, religious and non-religious persons alike.
IV - To promote ethical actions that stem from the notion that people must take responsibility for their own lives and the communities and world in which we live.
